BIOGRAPHY

Driven.
Rob MacMullan is driven to express himself.
Through songwriting, singing, playing guitar & piano,
screenwriting, or standing on the hood of his car
in the middle of the desert & howling at the moon.
Growing up in the Philly suburbs, there was always
an opportunity for self-expression.
Starting at 8 years old with the Philadelphia
Archdiocesan Boys Choir, to high school plays & musicals,
a Bachelor's degree & Master of Fine Arts in acting,
Rob has been talking & singing to whomever would listen
his whole life.
After grad school, Rob moved to Los Angeles to pursue
music full-time & in 1998, was invited to participate
in the ASCAP Lester Sill Songwriters Workshop.
Since then, he has been writing, recording, & performing
at intimate venues all over Southern California.
A local finalist in the 2001 Colgate Palmolive
Country Music Showdown,
the face & voice of CoCo's Restaurants in 2003,
& most recently a finalist on VH-1's
You Rock With Melissa Etheridge,
word is spreading quickly about who Rob MacMullan is in the world.
Driven.
